Analytics for Pinterest launched

If you’re still looking for a reason to put your business on Pinterest (although there are already plenty) then look no further – Pinterest has now launched their own integrated analytics into the platform.

-Bonus: it’s completely free!

How to start using the analytics:

First, log on to your account and make sure you have switched to the “new look” (which is not really that much different) – you’ll know if you haven’t done this yet as you will be prompted to switch in your drop-down menu.

N.B. You also need to make sure you’ve verified your web address!

So now you’ve logged on and switched to the new look, go back to your drop down menu and click on the Analytics tab – and done! It’s that easy.

What you will find:

Site Metrics –

  • Daily average number of pins & pinners
  • Daily average number of repins & repinners
  • Impressions & reach
  • Clicks & visitors to your website

There is also three other tabs for you to explore –

  • Most recent
  • Most repinned
  • Most clicked

Want to know another great thing about it? You can adjust the timeframe for any of these metrics –so you can see which pins are working by day, week or even month!

Overall, this is great news for marketers! This tool is going to make marketers’ content and social campaigns even stronger.
