New Design for Google Plus

No Gravatar

Google+ announced on Wednesday that users will slowly start seeing some changes and new features to their profiles and to the social network. So what’s new?

1.    Local reviews

Similar to photos and +1 buttons, users can now highlight reviews and favourite restaurants. This is a move in line with Google’s efforts to expand local search across all of its platforms.

2.    Larger cover photos

Users will start to see larger cover photos with a better aspect ratio – the cover photos on your profile will now be 2120 pixels by 1192 pixels at a 16:9 ratio when fully expanded.

3.    About You

Google has now made it easier for you to edit the ‘About’ tab which now includes options for you to edit Education, Work, Links etc. You still have the option to share this information will all of your followers or just with certain circles.
